This was in Manhattan Beach, but it could have been anywhere

Greetings from Redondo on a bright blue day
Beach Life, DG Creations, Photography, Redondo Beach, Surf N PixelsLook out for that pier!
Beach Life, DG Creations, Photography, Surf N PixelsIt always makes me nervous when I see surfers riding waves near or underneath a pier, as several were doing in Manhattan Beach when I stopped by today.
I guess they know what they’re doing, but if not there were plenty of lifeguards ready to dive in at sign of aquatic misadventure.
Moms and dads were also watching over their young charges on another bright sunny day at the beach.
Why work out at the gym when you can go to the beach and see this instead?
Beach Life, DG Creations, Photography, Surf N PixelsI’ll do my whale watching from here, thank you very much
Beach Life, DG Creations, Photography, Surf N PixelsI haven’t spotted any whales lately, but I know they are out there, and that there are plenty of whale watching expeditions that could lead me to them.
But I get terribly sea sick — and prefer views like this to any that I could see from the boat above. So I’ll stick to dry land, thank you very much.
