It was so foggy when I stopped by Playa del Rey this afternoon that it looked otherworldly. There’s a man and a lifeguard stand shrouded in that fog.

People went sailing in the marina anyway

Rowed their way up the channel

And even walked along the strand.

But they were not playing beach volleyball — the courts were empty, as evidenced here.
