I like how polite these signs are: You are told what you may and may not do in the reserve, and the rattlesnake sign advises that they are very important members of the natural community, so please give them distance and respect.

No baby seal, but I did get this

Today, I set out to visit Bolsa Chica, which I ended up approaching from Dog Beach to the south. I saw this very cute baby seal slithering into the ocean but could not power up my camera in time. Instead, I give you this tranquil shot.
