It’s been eons since I visited Asbury Park, and it definitely looked spiffier than I remembered, but by no means posh. Inside the old Paramount Theater building, a shop owner was telling a customer about how Gov. Chris Christie visited after Hurricane Sandy, and whatever you think of him, that meant a lot to her. We got there on cloudy Monday morning so it wasn’t that busy, but when the sun came out, so did more people.
