DG Creations, Photography, San Pedro, Surf N PixelsI had no idea Sunken City existed until I saw a bunch of people duck under fences enclosing it on a visit to nearby Point Fermin not that long ago.
There is so much colorful graffiti covering the remains of a development that slid towards the sea in 1929, and eventually closed to the public in 1987.
Despite the forbidding fences and signs, it is popular with picnickers and street artists. And if local residents get their way, it may soon be re-opened during daylight hours.
